What's the fuss?

Nintendo gave us a tease of what upcoming games they had in store for fans with new gameplay and surprising announcements. With the games revealed being a blend of exclusive and non-exclusive titles, Nintendo sure knows how to generate excitement.

The situation

Nintendo pleased fans with a jam-packed 40 minute showcase regarding what games we can expect in the year.

    From brand new IPs to first-glimpse gameplay of highly anticipated games, there is certainly much for gamers to be excited about, including (but not exhaustive to):

    Boiling it down

    The Nintendo Switch is slowly becoming one of the best places to play old games.

    • As of late, the aging console seems to be getting blessed with games that released in previous generations such as the PlayStation 3 (2006).
    • Given the Switch can play its games portably, there clearly some novelty to playing these original home console games on-the-go...
    • ...but only being to support games two-generations-removed games says a lot about the aging hardware.

    Nintendo gamers have a lot to look forward to in 2022 before the holiday season.
