More Star Wars games are in the works from Respawn Entertainment

We haven't received a new Star Wars game in a few years, so don't blame us for rejoicing when it was announced that more are on the way.

Video games based on the iconic Star Wars franchise have been around almost as long as the movies have been.

Since the first game made for arcades in 1983, both excellent and disappointing Stars Wars games have come our way.
We haven't received a full-length franchised game since the acclaimed Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order released in 2019.

More Star Wars games are on the way from the developer responsible for a lot of the excellent Star Wars games, Respawn Entertainment.

3 more games are said to be in the pipeline, including a sequel to Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
Little is known about the other 2 games other than their genres: a first-person shooter and a strategy game.

This may be a turning point for mega video game publisher Electronic Arts (EA), who had the exclusive rights to publish Star Wars games since 2013.

With Disney being done with the main trilogy of Star Wars movies, they seem to be doubling down on other mediums.

Although historical sales of Star Wars video games have generally been solid, the question remains whether or not these new titles will contribute to "Star Wars" fatigue.
